The water line is composed by the following stages of treatment:

  - Mechanical removal of gross solids, fat, oil and grease.

  - Homogenization tank for the homogenization of the pollutants, flow regulation and PH measurement and regulation.

  - Secondary treatment composed by a low load activated sludge process, nitrification/denitrification and secondary lamella clarifier.

The sludge line is composed by the following stages:

  - Sludge extraction from primary decantation and final clarifier.

  - Sludge static thickening.

  - Sludge dewatering using filter bags (FILSA).
